2010 has seen Ashfield Angling increase its portfolio of waters to an impressive six first class stillwater/lakes including a Syndicate lake and a Dam.![]() Its river stretches of the mighty river Trent also increases to 10 different sections which includes the infamous Stoke/Cromwell and Thrumpton Weirs, plus the clubs first ever day ticket stretch at the Bardolph Estate (Road Stretch) which is also available for match bookings. The clubs waters now offer its members a vast array of different angling styles to suit everyone from Top class predator fishing, amazing carp fishing in lakes and rivers, to quiet Tench fishing and also the famous exiting white water Barbel Fishing or shipping a pole out on Cauldwell Dam for a vast array of silver fish. Whether your thing is throwing a lead or feeder out for the massive bream shouls in its lakes or running a stick float down the river for chub/ roach or barbel , as well as Bivvying up for the carp on the River/lakes and waggler fishing for Roach, Ashfield Angling Club now has it all. If been away from the crowds is your thing then we have miles of quiet river for just that style of fishing or if the exiting action of white water Barbel fishing is you, then try one of the three Weirs. The club now also has specially designed disabled access fishing pegs on the Trent at the Road stretch at Stoke bardolph.
